Operations
Aceso watches the services it runs. It groups the errors they report, opens an incident on a fatal error, a new error or a spike, and checks the health of every release it puts live.
90 Second health gate
Every release is watched after it goes live and rolled back when its checks fail.
Every commit is built in a release directory of its own and switched into production with one command, so the release before it is always there to return to. For 90 seconds after a switch Aceso watches the health checks, and a release that fails them is rolled back. Automatic fixes ship through the same pipeline as every other change, and error reports have personal data removed before they leave the service.
Teams running services that have to stay up without someone watching every deploy. It runs this website and our services.
